My Christening :-)

Here I am, Baby Mooey, sleeping while Papa carries me in church. I'm wearing the very same dress that Mama wore when she was baptized ;-) Lola took care of the Mama's baptismal dress really well :-)
They say I look like a Mother Superior ... I was "Madre Maura" that day :-)

Mama and Papa were worried that I'll wake up and cry... But I behaved like a good Christian Baby Mooey :-)

This is mama and papa during their wedding. Little did they know, I was watching from up above. And was coming very soon!

And this was their entourage. Tita Carla and Auntie Cindy were the maid and matron of honor. Uncle Pay and Uncle Marvin the bestmen. Tita Rowena (mama's best friend from long ago) and Auntie Jenny, the bridesmaids. Tito Gerg and Uncle Ian, the groomsmen. Tita Ruth, Tito Giovi, Tita Pinky and Tito Romel, Tita Lanie and Tito Nemie, the secondary sponsors. Ate Cinderella, Ate Jerica, Ate Angela and Ate Regine were patients of mama and were the flower girls, along with my cousins, Ates Louie, Gabby and Bettina. Ringbearers were Kuya Jeff, another of mama's patients, and Kuya Ryan, Kuya Marco and Kuya Jason. They looked like they were having so much fun! :-)

Here they are again after the wedding reception, posing for more picture taking. Mama said she was already getting tired smiling. :-)

And here was the confetti throwing... mama couldn't believe a petal actually landed inside her mouth! She says that means good luck. :-)

I'm Maura Mikaela Lesaca Medina, but you can call me Baby Mooey :-)
My lola Gloria wanted to call me "Maui". One day though, our visayan house help malou called me "Mooey" ( bisaya pronunciation for "maui", i guess). And since then it stuck.
You can also call me Moo:-)

This was taken on March 24, 2007 during my uncle ian and auntie jenny's beautiful wedding at CCF. I was still too small to be flower girl. Papa and Mama were nervous that i would be crying and shouting at the ceremony, but i behaved... i sure surprised them.
This picture shows just how they were so proud of me!!! :-)

I brought mama and papa along when i checked out Island Cove in Cavite.

As you can see, i'm growing up to be quite a "sophisticated" little girl. (notice my "model pose" :-)... and to think (!) auntie gil (my ramp model auntie) hasn't even started teaching me the ropes yet!
